September Weekend Successes
Despite the best efforts of the weather (heat wave – what heat wave?!), hardy Friends of Nevis volunteers have just completed two days of path maintenance on Ben Nevis and a morning of litter clearance in the Glen. During the weekend of activities we also managed to fit in our Annual General Meeting and a meal/social get together in Cafe Beag, Glen Nevis. Very many thanks to all who took part in any way and we hope to post information about the AGM/forward plans very soon.

We had a great time and although we worked in heavy rain we think the work helped in some way to improve the path for walkers. Enjoyed working with Martin the path specialist and the other volunteers and looking forward to future volunteering and path repars in 2012. ( Kent Branch )
What a great way to leave the office behind for a few days and retreat to the beauty of the mountains. Enjoyed as always the weekend, the company of other members and volunteers and left (until next time of course) with the satisfaction of helping in a small way to look after the paths and hopefully enlighten users of the works of FON. Can’t wait to come back in 2012
